Abstracts and Images The art of Bonnie J. Smith has two distinct sides, one being facial imagery of family members and the other being abstracts. The artist states: "There is a time for all of us when we are at the top of our game. We have innocence in our faces and we are so hopeful for the future and what life will bring us. With this thought in mind I have taken my parents and my own high school graduation pictures and worked them over and over into numerous images giving them minor celebrity status, so to speak. My parents are hard working people and I decided one day that I wanted the world to see them and know them and to celebrate their lives. I believe I have succeeded in what I set out to do."
